CAPABILITIES / IIS MONITOR 3

Understand the server.
Follow the evidence.

Live IIS and Windows measurements, selected-site activity and local session reports. A closer view of what is happening at your origin.

ONE APPLICATION. CONNECTED CONTEXT.

From the overview
to the request.

Move between six main areas: Live Overview, LAN & External, Sites & Content, Requests & Errors, Full Logs, and Safety & Help.

01 / LIVE OVERVIEW

Your server at a glance

Watch physical network throughput, IIS requests and connections, queues, rejected requests, CPU, available memory, IIS worker resources and disk activity. Time-series charts show the last 15 minutes.

02 / LAN & EXTERNAL

Know the traffic's scope

Review TCP/UDP traffic using connected-subnet LAN and public external endpoints. Ambiguous private or VPN traffic, local traffic and multicast remain in separate categories.

03 / SITES & CONTENT

Find your busiest content

Explore selected sites, completed downloads, uploads and URLs. Sort by transferred bytes, request counts and status information to identify the content behind the totals.

04 / REQUESTS & ERRORS

Put errors in context

Inspect completed request history, filter HTTP 4xx and 5xx responses, and review readable status meanings, affected sites and suggested actions. Available detail follows the fields already present in your IIS logs.

05 / FULL LOGS

Keep reviewable evidence

Review local CSV, TXT and JSON reports, including performance samples, website and URL totals, completed requests, HTTP status summaries and network information. Package a finalized session as a ZIP.

06 / SAFETY & HELP

Work within clear boundaries

Review compatibility and measurement guidance, access license activation, and manage product-owned results. Monitoring reads existing IIS evidence without changing your website configuration.

MEASUREMENT SCOPE

Different signals.
Different meanings.

Server network totals and completed IIS requests describe different layers. Keep their scope in mind when comparing them.

MeasurementWhat it represents
Physical network adapterAll applications and protocols on the selected physical adapters, including LAN traffic.
LANTCP/UDP traffic with an endpoint in a selected server address's connected subnet, including IPv6.
ExternalPublic TCP/UDP endpoints outside that connected subnet. This can include connections from a reverse proxy such as Cloudflare.
Completed IIS requestsExisting W3C request records for the sites you selected. These are separate from whole-adapter or other-application traffic.
ConnectionsServer connection measurements, not a count of unique people visiting a website.
CDN edge cacheRequests served entirely at the edge do not reach IIS and are outside the origin view.

RECORD YOUR INVESTIGATION

Your sites.
Your time window.

Select the IIS sites to include and choose a recording duration of 1, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 or 168 hours. Start monitoring when you're ready, or use Stop & Finalize to end the session early.

Finalized reports stay in the AI Creations Now IIS Monitor Results folder on your Desktop. Package a completed session as a ZIP when you want to review or share it.

RESPECT FOR YOUR SERVER

Observe your IIS setup.
Keep control of your data.

Your configuration stays yours

Monitoring does not change your sites, application pools, bindings, logging fields, website files, DNS, firewall rules or original IIS logs. Installation and monitoring create the application's own local files, licensing state and monitoring worker.

Results stay local

The application does not automatically upload session results or send background usage reports. Reports are ordinary local files and can contain sensitive request or server information. Review them before sharing.

Evidence has limits

IIS Monitor 3 is a monitoring and investigation tool. It does not provide automatic remediation, a security audit, an ISP billing calculation or a guarantee of website availability. Reboots and unavailable counters can interrupt coverage.
