AT A GLANCE
The application does not automatically upload session results, provide advertising analytics or send background usage reports.
When you activate, the application sends the license key and machine, installation and version information over HTTPS to validate registration.
Reports can contain sensitive request and server information. They are not automatically redacted or encrypted by the application. Review them before sharing.
APPLICATION PRIVACY NOTICE
IIS Monitor 3 provides local monitoring of Microsoft IIS and Windows performance. This notice covers the application's information handling. Your organization remains responsible for its website privacy notices, permissions and retention requirements. For the publisher's broader website practices, read the corporate privacy policy.
When you start monitoring, the application reads existing IIS logs for your selected sites, local configuration needed to identify those sites and available Windows performance information. Depending on the fields already present, records can include request times, site names, HTTP methods, URL paths and query strings, client or proxy IP addresses, user agents, referrers, status and error codes, transferred bytes and response times. Existing forwarded-client, Cloudflare country and Ray ID fields may also be read.
Reports and diagnostics can include computer names, local paths, site bindings, file metadata, process information, IIS worker CPU and memory, connection counts, queues, counter failures and active-request snapshots. Network measurements use Windows counters and TCP/UDP event metadata, including addresses and interface information. They do not capture packet payloads or HTTP request or response bodies. Interface totals can include other applications.
URLs, query strings, referrers and logs can contain personal information, identifiers or secrets supplied by your websites or clients. The application does not automatically anonymize or redact them. Use the software only on systems you are authorized to monitor.
Session results, diagnostics and requested ZIP exports are saved locally, normally in the AI Creations Now IIS Monitor Results folder on your Desktop. The application also maintains local monitoring state and working files. Results are ordinary files and are not encrypted by IIS Monitor 3. Protect them with appropriate Windows access controls, device security and retention practices.
The application does not automatically upload monitoring results to the publisher or send background usage reports. Results may leave the computer if you share them, or if another service such as Desktop synchronization, backup or endpoint management copies them. Those services operate under their own settings and policies.
Use the application's log-management controls to remove completed product-owned results or exports you no longer need. Active or uncertain recording states are protected from that deletion workflow. Deleting product results does not erase original IIS logs, Windows records, backups or previously shared copies. Ordinary uninstall preserves the Desktop results folder.
The free trial starts only when you choose to start it and lasts 48 elapsed hours, including time while the application is closed. Starting the trial does not send an activation request.
When you choose Activate, the application sends an HTTPS request to the publisher's licensing service. The request contains:
The machine hash is derived from a hardware or Windows machine identifier; the raw hardware identifiers are not sent as separate fields. The receiving service also receives the source public IP address and ordinary HTTPS request metadata. This information is used to validate the license and its machine binding.
IIS logs, monitoring results, packet contents and website credentials are not included in the activation request. After approval, normal access checks use the saved local registration without routine licensing-server revalidation. Hardware or Windows changes can require reactivation.
Local uninstall does not request deletion of records held by the licensing service. Contact [email protected] about those records or other privacy requests.
Registration is stored separately from the application and contains a key hash, machine and installation identity, activation time and integrity information rather than the raw 10-digit key. Separate trial and clock records are also kept locally.
These records use Windows machine-level protection and access restricted to Administrators and SYSTEM. They remain after ordinary uninstall so a registration can be recognized and reinstalling does not create another trial. They contain no IIS request history.
These protections do not make a computer immune to administrative tampering or compromise. Missing, corrupt or inconsistent licensing records can block access. Contact support instead of deleting licensing state.
The purchase button opens Stripe checkout in your browser only when you click it. The offer is a $39.99 lifetime license for the activated computer. Checkout information is handled by the merchant and Stripe under their applicable notices and terms. IIS Monitor 3 does not collect payment-card details or receive them from the browser.
Payment does not automatically activate the software. Enter the delivered key in the application to activate it. Purchase-related questions and refund requests are covered by the publisher's cancellation and refund policy.
Windows, certificate validation, security software and operating-system logging may independently create records or contact services according to their own settings.
You choose the sites included in monitoring, when recording starts and stops, local result retention, ZIP exports and voluntary sharing. Stop recording before changing retention or removing files. Review reports before sending them to support or anyone else.
Administrators remain responsible for appropriate notices, permissions and handling of personal information in their website logs. Do not send passwords, full license keys or unreviewed sensitive logs in an initial support message.
